The Navpanel

The navigation panel is what links the member websites with one another.

The command buttons

The commands (links) "Home", "Prev", "List" and "Next" are the minimum by default.

The HTML code for the panel can be customised to blend with your site theme.

The HTML code

The navigation panel is a small piece of HTML code. On registration, a unique code is generated for the specific website, with the siteID embedded in the code. The owner / webmaster of the joining website simply has to insert the code where it is meant to be displayed.

I have written it in a way to be easily customisable. These are the permitted changes: overall size; size of individual rows; fonts' face, style, size and colour; and even add a picture file.
But traditionally, no advertisements on the panel are allowed.

To help with changing the codes of the font colours, you may find this Color Palette helpful. If you are unable to customise it, I will try to do it for you, to blend it with your style/theme. Although, being a non IT individual, I am unable to do any fancy work.

Please do not hide the panel

For the ring to work, the panel has to be easily accessable.

It should be displayed clearly and preferably linked to the frontpage or the most popular page. The purpose of the 'ring' is lost if even a single site keeps their navpanel obscured.

We are a webring, and not a links directory.
If you do not wish to display the panel, then please do not join the ring.
